In the game “TheHunter: Call of the Wild,” players often spend much time peering through scopes to locate their targets. Yet, there are instances when you might wish to discard your scope. Unfortunately, this option isn’t explicitly explained in the game, making it both challenging to execute and leaving players wondering if it can even be done (it can).

How to remove your scope

Here’s a simpler way to explain how to unscope in The Hunter: Call of the Wild:

1. If you’re using a PC, simply click the middle mouse button when your weapon is equipped. This will remove the scope.
2. However, if you’re playing on an Xbox or PlayStation console, press the ‘D-pad Up’ key twice and then hit ‘confirm’ (X on Xbox or Square on PlayStation). This action will make the scope disappear.
