How to play the Green County map – DayZ

In the gaming world of DayZ, a fresh, virtual landscape known as Green County has been unveiled for PC gamers to explore through a trial run. Struggling to locate a server? Here’s some guidance on how to solve that issue.

How to play the Green County map in DayZ

To locate a server in Green County for the game DayZ, you’ll first need to download the DayZ Standalone Launcher, a community-created tool specifically designed for this game. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any Green County servers using the official in-game launcher. However, it’s important to note that the DayZ SA Launcher includes Green County as one of its playable maps. At present, there are two servers available, but they are both full. So, be prepared for a wait in the queue to join.

Remember, this is just a trial run for the game server, so they might temporarily vanish. Look at the date on this article. If it’s fairly recent, like a few days or weeks old, the servers could have been taken down for additional work. Fingers crossed, in due time, we can access the Green County map permanently.

The map depicting Green County follows the layout of Ohio. Currently, it measures 10km by 10km, equating to 100 square kilometers in total area. For comparison, Chernarus spans 225 square kilometers, making Green County approximately half its size. Nonetheless, it’s important to note that Green County still encompasses a substantial amount of territory.
