In Destiny 2’s Destined Heroes quest, players may encounter an issue where they can’t pick up a new item called the Dyadic Prism, introduced with The Final Shape expansion. This prevents them from progressing past step 8. Here’s a solution to this problem.

To acquire the Dyadic Prism during step 8 of the Destined Heroes quest, ensure that there’s an empty space in your Energy weapon inventory so you can receive it from Ghost. If your Energy weapon slot is already full, you won’t be able to collect this Exotic item.

Instead of the enigmatic Awoken Mementos, the purpose of the Dyadic Prism should be clear. This item plays a crucial role in acquiring the Exotic Sword, Ergo Sum, so if you’ve taken a break and returned, remember to collect it for that purpose.

After securing the coveted artifact, I’ll proceed to the climactic phase of this thrilling adventure – transporting it to the hallowed chambers of the Sacrarium. This is the grand finale of our quest, where the old Prism will be exchanged for the magnificent Exotic Sword that has piqued my curiosity and excitement!
