As a seasoned Stalker 2 veteran, I must admit that the game has a knack for tossing us players into some truly perplexing situations. The conundrum of Bubble’s body pick-up is no exception to this rule.

Bubble’s sibling requests that you transport his deceased body. It’s not just the odd circumstances surrounding Bubble’s remains that pose a challenge, but also the fact that the “Pick Up” option only becomes visible when you disregard some aspect of the instructions.

How to pick up & carry Bubble

To collect Bubble, you’ll need to retrieve Bubbs’s PDA from his pocket initially. This action contradicts what his brother instructed, which could undoubtedly confuse players. His brother explicitly said “Don’t rummage through the body,” yet if you don’t get the PDA, you won’t be able to carry him instead.

As a devoted fan, I discovered the unique method necessary to activate the ‘Pick Up’ button on Bubble. I even emptied my backpack completely, hoping it was an issue related to carrying capacity. However, I found out that regardless of what you remove from Bubble, leaving his PDA behind, he still cannot be carried.

It appears that the only method of transporting Bubble to his brother involves disregarding his wish and retrieving items from his possession. You have the option to grab everything or just the PDA. Regardless of his reaction, his brother will likely be upset with you. Perhaps consider taking all items, keeping what’s useful, and selling the rest.
