How to make leather – RuneScape: Dragonwilds

In the game RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you gradually progress through levels of gear and spells until you’re strong enough to battle dragons without perishing. It’s a challenging endeavor, similar to other survival games, where there are numerous recipes requiring items that are stashed away after multiple steps. One such item is leather, here’s how you can obtain it.

How to make make leather in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

To create leather, there are several essential steps involved. Initially, you’ll need to establish a tannery, which can be quite complex. The blueprint for the tannery can only be obtained by securing an animal bone first. This bone can be harvested from either a deer or a cow. While cows are easier to hunt, deer can be tricky due to their agility. A bow might be necessary when hunting deer.

  • 12 Ash Logs – chop down some Ash trees, then chop up the larger logs.
  • 4 Animal Bone – This can be gotten from deer or cows.
  • 2 Coarse Thread – you will need a spinning wheel and some flax to make this.
  • Important note – you HAVE to build the Tannery under a roof for it to work, you cannot place it outside.

With my new Tannery in hand, I’m thrilled to embark on this leather-making journey! I can now easily place Animal Hides or leftover Scraps into the designated slot, and watch as magic happens – the Tannery will automatically transform these raw materials into pieces of soft, supple leather. It takes three Scraps to create a single piece of leather, but a full Hide will do just fine too!

As a seasoned gamer, when I’ve got my hands on some quality leather, I can craft a variety of essential gear. Among these are two significant upgrades – the Bone Club and the Bone Pick Axe, which will undoubtedly enhance my gaming experience.
