In the sequel of “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2″, various trophies are available, each unique in form, yet some may be missed due to being tied to specific missions. To obtain these trophies, certain tasks must be accomplished during the associated quests. Once a quest concludes, it’s impossible to retrace your steps and complete the objectives for those trophies unless you decide to start a fresh game.

Once you’ve progressed to the primary objective, “The Lion’s Den,” in the Kuttenberg district, your goal is to eliminate three commanders – Chertan, Grozav, and Katz – before the mission concludes. To receive the Hydra’s Head trophy, this must be accomplished. This guide will walk you through each step to ensure a successful completion of the quest.

This trophy is missable, as it can only be earned during the The Lion’s Den main quest.

How To Unlock The Hydra’s Head Trophy/Achievement

During the Lion’s Den mission, the character Captain Chertan is scripted to die midway through, thus reducing the number of enemies you have to face to just Grozav and Katz.

Once you get the objective ‘Search the spot where Chertan was stabbed‘, this is where things start.

How To Kill Grozav

Following your chat with Katz, there’s a trace of blood leading the way, right in front of where Henry stands. This trail leads to a room on the left side, and inside that room, you’ll discover a cannon.

Ensure you inspect both the cannon and the floor within, as this will help update your quest’s objective and prove crucial later on.

Keep moving ahead towards your goal, which will instruct you to explore several tents within the campsite.

First, let’s head towards Grozav’s Tent which stands to the west. Over there, you’ll find a table laden with wine and herbs on its right side. Make sure to take note of this setup as it will be important later on.

After completing the initial tasks, let’s continue exploring the rest of the camp sites. Once that’s done, fast-forward through the night until dawn breaks. Next, head over to Katz’s place as our trial is about to commence.

Throughout the court proceedings, you’ll encounter several dialogue choices that will help implicate Grozav for the murder. Making these choices in sequence will ultimately result in his execution. Here are the dialogue options in the correct sequence:

1. Accuse Grozav of being involved in the crime.
2. Present evidence that ties him to the crime scene.
3. Call witnesses who can testify against him.
4. Cross-examine any defense witnesses or lawyers who try to discredit your evidence.
5. Summarize your case and ask for justice.
6. Allow the jury to make their decision.

First, you must locate Commander Katz, which will be your final objective in this mission. Towards the culmination of this journey, you’ll have an opportunity to set an ambush against Commander Katz and his troops.

You need to find Commander Katz as the last step in this quest. At the end of the adventure, you will be able to stage a surprise attack on both Commander Katz and his forces.

Here’s your opportunity to handle all the other soldiers before focusing on Katz. Later on, to your left, you’ll spot Katz emerging from under his horse. Once you eliminate him, the “Hydra’s Head” trophy or achievement will become available.
