How to get Warframe Twitch Drops

As a seasoned Tenno, I’ve seen my fair share of battles and have built more Warframes than I can count. But there’s something about a free Warframe that makes my heart race with excitement! Digital Extremes has always been generous with their Twitch Drops, and I can’t help but feel like Santa Claus is watching out for me during those major events.

Instead of a Warframe you’ve personally crafted from hard-earned parts and resources being the best, there’s nothing quite like receiving one for free, especially when developers decide to generously share some goodies. Digital Extremes has a history of providing free Warframes, weapons, and essential resources during significant events, so keep an eye out for those Twitch Drops to avoid missing out!

How to get Warframe Twitch Drops

In order to receive Warframe Twitch Drops, it’s essential that you connect your Warframe and Twitch accounts.

  • Go to the official Warframe Twitch link page
  • Hit the “Link Account” button
  • Select the account you wish to log in with. You can log in with your Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or Apple account.
  • Check that the connection is active on the Connections page
  • That’s it; you’re all linked up and ready to go.

To obtain the drops, you should tune into particular live streams. These could be official Digital Extremes broadcasts such as DevStreams or TennoCon, or they may occur during the launch of new updates and extensions. Additionally, you can earn them when other streamers are demonstrating the game. Streams that are actively dropping items will have “DROP” in their title, so you’ll be able to identify them easily.

Once you’ve watched a stream for an adequate duration to earn a drop, navigate to the “Twitch Drop Inventory” page and claim it there. Please note that the item might take up to 10 minutes to appear in your associated account.

Note of Importance for Twitch iOS App Users: While you can accumulate rewards by viewing through the Twitch App, you won’t be able to redeem them within the app itself. Instead, you’ll have to claim your rewards using a web browser on your mobile device or computer.
