How to get through the sand waterfall – Chapter 2
In Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll need to navigate through the waterfall made of sand. To do this, you’ll first have to defeat the boss known as the First Prince of the Flowing Sands. Hidden within his arena is the Loong Scale, a crucial item for your progress. You can find a breakable wall in the arena, and behind it lies a secret passage leading to a chest that holds the scale.
- Defeat King of Flowing Sands and Second Prince of Flowing Sands
- Defeat First Prince of the Flowing Sands
- Use Wandering Wight head slam to break the carved wall
- Pass through the crack and open the chest to get the Loong Scales
- Go to the sand waterfall at the Rockrest Flat in Fright Cliff
To engage in the boss fight against the First Prince of the Flowing Sands, you need to successfully defeat the duo, King of Flowing Sands and Second Prince of Flowing Sands initially. Subsequently, search for a shrine named “Valley of Despair” on the arena’s left side (when standing in front of the big door). This shrine will guide you into a cave. As you traverse through, stay close to the left wall and jump down into the pit.

Head over to the Rockrest Flat shrine located within Fright Cliff region. Ascend the steps and find yourself facing a sand waterfall where you can engage in interaction. Upon stopping the flow of sand, a door will appear, allowing you through it. Beyond the door lies Black Loong, a challenging boss encounter awaits you.
