The distinctive insignia, “The Transient Whisperer,” is an exclusive prize earned during the Expert mode of the Encore mission in Destiny 2. Those who possess “Whisper of the Worm” can attempt a limited-time version of the mission. Successfully completing it within 35 minutes grants the reward.
How to get the Transient Whisperer emblem
The badge “Transient Whisperer” is earned by successfully finishing the “Encore Exotic mission” on the Expert difficulty within 35 minutes, following passage through a unique Vex gateway. This Vex gateway can be accessed once a player possesses the “Whisper of the Worm.” Furthermore, it becomes available after completing the quests “A Rising Chorus” and its subsequent Epilogue.
First, finish the Episode: Echoes questline, A Rising Chorus, and the Epilogue mission. Once done, launch Encore on Expert mode (the version doesn’t matter). Upon entering the mission, head straight crosswise across the area and peer over the edge to spot some platforms. Traverse these platforms downwards until you reach a cave.
Upon arrival at a modest protrusion, you’ll notice a slanted rock face adorned with the symbol of the Whisper of the White Nail perk from Whisper of the Worm. To make the wall vanish, equip your Whisper of the Worm weapon. Proceed through the hole and reach the end to discover a Vex portal.
Using the Vex portal for travel takes you directly to the start of the mission, initiating a 35-minute countdown. Your objective during this timeframe is to finish the entire mission before the clock runs out. Defeat the boss to earn your Transient Whisperer emblem.
To gain access to Transient Whisperer, there are three key steps: first, finish the campaign for Episode: Echoes; second, obtain Whisper of the Worm; third, complete this task within the designated timeframe.
