As a seasoned Warframe veteran with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that the Reconifex is a game-changer for any fan of the Cyte-09 arsenal. Having dabbled in the exalted sniper, I was initially skeptical about this assault rifle, but boy, was I wrong!
The Reconifex is Cyte-09’s distinctive assault rifle, introduced in Warframe back in 1999. It serves as a viable substitute for his exalted sniper, and it’s definitely worth investigating. This weapon has the capability to make quick work of things, so it’s a good idea to delve into its capabilities. One of the key reasons to examine this firearm is that a strategically timed reload will infuse the magazine with Heat, which enhances the weapon’s armor-stripping ability and significantly accelerates the reloading process.
How to get the Reconifex – Warframe
You can get the main blueprint for the Reconifex by completing bounties from the Bounty Board in the Hollvania Mall. You can then get the component blueprints for the Barrel, Stock, and Receiver from the Legacyte Harvest and Hell-Scrub missions in Hollvania.
The reward rotations are as follows:
- Legacyte Harvest – all blueprints can drop in Rotations A and B, so across the first three of every four rotations. (Mission type follows the AABC rotation pattern.)
- Hell-Scrub – The drops change depending on whether the Hell-Scrubber is above or below ground. Above ground – drops the Barrel and Stock blueprint on the A rotation and the Receiver blueprint on B. This then inverts below ground. Once again, rotations are AABC.
Additionally, you have the option to meet up with Amir at the mall and exchange your Hex Standing for the blueprints when you reach Rank 4 within the Hex Syndicate.
As a die-hard fan, I’d recommend optimizing this bad boy for maximum critical chance and damage. Pack it with high-capacity magazines, crank up the crit chance, and don’t forget to amplify the crit multiplier. The reload is a bit lengthy, so practice nailing that timing until it feels instinctive to avoid any penalties. Pairing this weapon with Warframes that focus on dishing out high health damage seems like the perfect recipe for unleashing its full potential.
