How to Find All Graviton Spike Intrinsics in Destiny 2

Obtaining the Graviton Spike is a prerequisite for its upgrade; next, proceed to Mars’ Enclave where you can craft it. Upon completion, head back to Kepler and embark on a hunt for elusive items scattered across the destination. Some are easily spotted, others require keen observation, while a few are particularly challenging to locate.

Regardless of whether you’re seeking intrinsics or catalysts, your objective is Arc buds – luminescent, compact flowers that resemble blossoms found during exploration on Kepler. Activate the Arc mode on Graviton’s Spike to open these buds, resulting in a bloom and unveiling a large Stasis crystal within. Rapidly switch to Spike Stasis mode and fire at the crystal multiple times to shatter it. This process will result in a nearby fan ceasing its rotation (though the reasoning behind this remains unexplained).

In just a few moments, make your way to the fan, transform into Matterspark, and pass safely through the blades to claim your prize waiting ahead.

First Intrinsic: Temporal Manipulation II

The starting point for the Graviton Spike is found within the expansive section of the Curtilage Divide. More precisely, your destination lies at the eastern wall, close to the floating container equipped with a Relocator platform.

The Arc bud extends from a small, bulbous building to the left of the pad.

To reach the fan, use the Mattermorph, located opposite the room. Make your way back to the suspended container and control panel, then move perpendicular to the laser barrier. Look for the Mattermorph on an elevated shelf ahead.

As a gamer, I’ll snatch that Arc bud trinket, pop it open to blast those Stasis crystals out, then morph the metal plates to my left before the laser wall using Mattermorph. Next up, I’ll activate Matterspark and dodge through those spinning fan blades. The goal is to grab that mysterious item on the floor, which will net me Temporal Manipulation II.

Second Intrinsic: Temporal Manipulation III

In the Caldera area of Kepler, you’ll discover the second intrinsic. To get there swiftly, depart from the Altar of Relativity, proceed beyond the Dean, and leap off the ledge to your left side.

Instead, rotate and proceed towards the shade provided by the metallic canopy. There, you’ll discover a Matterspark tunnel carved into the wall’s side. Continue on through it.

Take a turn to the left in the little chamber situated at the end of the passageway, then jump onto the containers while you’re still in Matterspark, followed by moving forward through another tunnel.

After exiting the second burrow, raise your gaze to your right to spot a damaged grating that allows passage and a third tunnel ahead. At the terminus of this tunnel, you’ll encounter another Arc flower accompanied by a fan. Proceed as previously directed and gather the Intrinsic.

If you’d prefer a slightly longer route, veer to the left as you move farther away from the Altar of Relativity. After passing the Aionian guard, keep left past the Mattermorph grates, then follow the tunnel until you reach another left turn leading to a Matterspark tunnel. This alternative path will lead you directly to the bud without any extra effort needed.

Third Intrinsic: Temporal Manipulation IV

For this intrinsic, we’re going deep into the southern Stellar Sink region of the Gorge.

Starting from the Assimilated Easement landing area, turn right and journey south along the enchanting Nine train, which is next to the Calculus mission hub. Follow this path through the corridors, crossing over the gaps when necessary, until you come across a Matterspark tunnel on your right side. Continue to the expansive chamber and make your way towards its western part.

At that location, you will notice a red and white structure with laser barriers blocking its entrance and a Relocator pad situated nearby. Move to the right side of the building, enter through the door. Jump to your right and keep moving along the path until you spot the Arc bud. Continue as usual, then pass through the Matterspark tunnel to discover the intrinsic in the room on the other side.

Be aware that these aren’t typical fans, but rather large fan sections which can potentially obstruct your path for a longer duration than expected. Despite this, they can still cause harm if operating at full speed.

How to Get All Gravity Spike Exotic Catalysts

Discovering the four catalysts for the Graviton Spike won’t come as simple as mastering the basics. The catalysts – Rapid Hit, Subsistence, Transcendent Zen, and Temporal Alignment – each require you to solve three separate puzzles. These challenges can be found in some of Kepler’s most secluded areas. Moreover, obtaining the Transcendent Zen items necessitates that you reach higher levels of difficulty.

I will provide the details for each catalyst item in the sequence they appear on the crafting interface, from the easiest (Rapid Hit) to the most complex. We’ll begin with Rapid Hit, which can be found in the Outer Steppes.

First Rapid Hit Catalyst Fragment

Acquiring this catalyst requires some extensive exploration. Start from the Caldera, then proceed into the Outer Steps until you find the spot where you initially encountered the Archon during the campaign.

Continue along the hallways on your right until you arrive at the expansive area where you battled the first Servitor boss.

To get the Arc blooming at its end, you’ll first have to eliminate two obstacles (Rosetta disruptors) that are blocking the terminal, which in turn powers a protective shield.

The initial disrupter is not too distant from its bloom. Make your way back to the central zone, then glance upward on the left-hand wall. You’ll find it concealed amongst some foliage there.

Move up the tall, dark, carbon fiber-esque construction until you reach its peak. From there, ascend to the steel rooftop of the connected building. That’s where you’ll locate the Disruptor.

1. Break or shatter the Arc bud and make it blossom.

2. Locate and break the Stasis crystal within it.

3. Pass through the fan after doing so.

5. Crack open the Arc bud to make it bloom, find the Stasis crystal inside, then proceed through the ventilation system (fan).

Engage with the Aionian console to discard your shield and obtain the catalyst piece located nearby.

Second Rapid Hit Catalyst Fragment

To proceed with the second Rapid Hit catalyst fragment, you’ll need to traverse a bit more and solve some simple puzzles. Begin by navigating to the Augur’s Bethel, which is east of the Curtilage Divide landing zone. Upon entering the area past the red heating pipe, make a right turn and head towards the back wall.

At that location, you’ll find a Matterspark entrance. Use it. Upon passing, proceed to the expansive pipe chamber and move straight towards the opposite end.

To the right of the blooming bud, there’s a whirling machine with visible fuse boxes. If you damage the Crystal of Stasis, it will slow down this machine sufficiently for you to fire at the fuses using any type of weapon.

Following the disarming of the fuses, locate the Relocator cannon situated across the room, then retrace your steps to the main area. Once there, glance upward and slightly to your left. Climb onto the nearby pipes, followed by leaping onto the higher pipes beyond them. You’ll spot a Relocator conduit. Aim the Relocator beam at it and collect the pad that lies to the right and into the room containing the catalyst piece.

Third Rapid Hit Catalyst Fragment

Upon reaching the Relocator puzzle, continue your journey until you’re able to grasp Mattermorph. Then, proceed into the room to the right that Mattermorph opens up, and eliminate all the hostile creatures you encounter. On the room’s back wall, you’ll discover the Arc bud.

Look for a secret path located beneath and slightly to the right of the Arc bulb. Once you find it, you’ll see a rotating fan beyond that. Break the Stasis crystal in the bulb as you normally would to slow down the fan. Then, gather the catalyst fragment from there to finish Rapid Hit.

This new version is more straightforward and uses simpler language to help guide the player through the game.

First Subsistence Catalyst Fragment

Instead of hastily warping away from the Singularity track following the acquisition of the last Rapid Hit catalyst piece, consider venturing a little more to grab the initial Subsistence fragment which lies slightly ahead.

Advance beyond the Mattermorph enigma, move through the chamber housing the colossal Minotaur adversary, and upon entering the subsequent space, opt to look upward rather than venturing further to the left.

Leap up to the platform over the big mushroom cluster first, followed by a jump onto the slightly smaller one directly above it. Pass through the minuscule opening and glance towards your left side.

In that spot, you’ll find the Arc blooming opposite a massive wind vane. Carry on with your routine, which involves unveiling the bud and shattering the Crystal of Stasis. After passing through the leisurely spinning wind vane, make a left turn, and grab the first piece in the well-lit room’s illuminated corner.

Second Subsistence Catalyst Fragment

Future endeavors for you, Protector, involve solving more puzzles! Our journey leads us towards the Curtilage Divide in Exile’s Accord, following a trail that takes us back to where you initially activated the Relocator.

Swiftly move towards the Divide drop-off point and pass through the neighboring Matterspark gateway. After that, veer to your left and proceed through the subsequent gate. Following this, wheel around and board the magical Nine train for a journey further into Kepler.

Head towards the train tracks on your left, then leap forward for a short distance. Look out for the Arc bud located next to its fan, which is protected by lasers. Your goal is to locate the Relocator and its platform, all while making sure to be swift with your Graviton Spike shots.

Make your way to the terminal’s edge on the left side. You’ll spot a slender platform extending over the abyss. Leap across to it to discover the Relocator hidden away in a nook.

Turn your arch and gaze to the right side, where you’ll find a towering column ascending from the ground. The platform with the pad is perched above another deep abyss, offering a panoramic view.

First, get hold of the Relocator and transport it towards the fan. Next, open the Arc bud by firing at it, shatter the crystal that appears, and after that, obtain the cannon. Once you have the cannon, aim and shoot the pad located behind the lasers. Lastly, proceed to the teleporter hidden in a corner. The catalyst piece will be lying near where you stand.

Third Subsistence Catalyst Fragment

Prepare to lace up your hiking boots! Your destination is the power plant region in the northwestern Outer Wastes, more precisely the spacious room where you activated the second reactor during the campaign. Let’s go there!

Upon your arrival, eliminate any adversaries, then proceed towards the room’s opposite end where you’ll find a computer terminal and a Relocator cannon. Secure the cannon first, then locate Mattermorph next to the sunken door and the big blue pillar.

First, utilize Mattermorph on the stone obstructing the entrance of the Relocator conduit. After that, aim and fire at the initial conduit to trigger the Relocator platform. Then, carefully move the activated pad into the nearby cage where you’ll find the Vex device using the computer.

Transform into Matterspark shape and jolt the Vex machine to shut it off, subsequently move towards the center of the space. There, you’ll find an Arc container opposite the cell you’ve recently exited. Unlock it and break the crystal inside to halt the fan.

Charging the Vex device removed the shield blocking the way to the final piece.

First Transcendent Zen Catalyst Fragment

To collect all six remaining catalyst pieces, it’s essential that you’re in the Mythic world tier, boasting a base power of 200. This means you’ll be underpowered by at least 50 compared to enemies. Failure to reach this tier will prevent Arc buds from appearing and obstruct your path to each fragment.

To find the initial Transcendent Zen fragment, head towards the Caldera Landing Zone. At the base of the staircase, veer to your right. Continue moving rightward past the drop leading to Exile’s Accord.

Approach the spot where you previously used the Signal Finder to locate Orin’s position. Once there, open up the Arc Bud, aim at the crystal, and proceed through the rotating ventilators.

As you move past the spectators, you’ll find a compact space with four locked doors and an Aionian panel that seems out of order. To access the disturbance source, you must first unlock the keypad doors, each opening releasing a single yellow-bar adversary.

As a gamer, I’d dart up to those unreachable air vents, peppering my foes from above while staying hidden. Once I’ve dealt enough damage, I’ll swing open the third door, triggering an intricate panel. With a swift move, I grab the coveted fragment before disappearing back into the shadows.

SecondTranscendent Zen Catalyst Fragment

Let’s delve further into this second part. Journey northeasterly from the Caldera towards the Aionian campus. In the initial section’s farthest corner, locate the Matterspark portal and pass through it.

Instead of going straight ahead when you exit the portal, turn left first, ascend the stairway, and after that, veer to the right towards the tunnels. The Arc bud is located not far from the chamber with the green mist chasm on your right-hand side.

To make it simpler for you to grasp the Mattermorph node, perform an action to turn off the fan first. Currently, you might be able to reach it via the grates, but a possible update could change that.

Venture back to the room where you previously discovered a large Harpy and some Aionian provisions, and you’ll notice an Arc bud on your left side. The Mattermorph items are situated behind the fan, so here’s what you should do: Open the Arc bud, fire the crystal, and employ Mattermorph to move any obstacle rocks. You’ll come across the catalyst fragment located within that room to your right.

Note that the green mist in the room’s center will just kill you.

Third Transcendent Zen Catalyst Fragment

For the third Transcendent Zen fragment, you’ll be descending back into the Singularity zone.

Proceed forward until you get to the initial zone where opponents are present, then take a left turn. Utilize Mattermorph to create a floor for the Matterspark trail.

After exiting the tunnel, veer to the right when you reach the next room, making sure to steer clear of enemies. Proceed up the ramp located at the rear of the room. On the wall to your right, you’ll find a Matterspark tunnel. The Arc bud and fan are situated nearby. Approach cautiously, as the fan is on the floor and could potentially harm you.

In simpler terms, at the lowest part of the room, there’s an enemy named Vandal with a bright yellow bar. This enemy has a power level of 270, so you can never have more than 2020 power when fighting him. If you’re playing alone, be cautious because if you die, he will vanish and won’t reappear until you restart from the Caldera landing zone. This means you’ll need to travel from the beginning again to reach him.

It appears that the catalyst piece could be hidden in the room concealed by the barrier, but I encountered some tough battles with the boss while exploring. Let’s assemble a team to tackle this part of the investigation together.

First Temporal Alignment Catalyst Fragment Location

You can get to the catalyst fragment in two different ways. Firstly, set off towards the left from the Caldera landing spot. As you move forward, keep your eyes open and look out for a far-off spinning fan.

First, locate the Arc bud, it’s close by. After passing through the fan, make your way along the Matterspark tunnel until you reach the computer room where you will find the fragment.

Instead, skip going directly to the fan. Continue on and remain under the platform where Ikora often resides. You’ll find a series of pipes there that you can scale in Matterspark to access the hole in the computer room floor.

Second Temporal Alignment Catalyst Fragment Location

In the most northerly part of the Gorge lies this catalyst fragment. After entering this area, you should consistently veer to the right at each junction. Proceed through the Matterspark chamber and its platforming segment, then you’ll eventually face your initial adversaries.

To proceed in the vast chamber located at the most northern part of the Gorge where the adversaries reside, you should navigate towards the suspended stone platforms close to the ceiling. The initial one that’s within your reach will be brightly lit and equipped with a teleportation device called a Relocator pad.

In the dim part of the room, you’ll find another block that has a Relocator cannon attached to its rear side. Bring it back to the platform. Once there, look across the platform to notice an Arc bud on the wall.

Gently breaking the crystal at its base gradually stills the fan situated in a modest chamber beneath it, giving you an opportunity to descend gracefully before firing the cannon through.

After that, make your way back to the central Relocator platform, being mindful to avoid the Hobgoblin lurking beneath who might instantly destroy you. Upon successfully teleporting, locate the catalyst piece hidden in the dim, rear part of the chamber.

Third Temporal Alignment Catalyst Fragment Location

The last piece of the Temporal Alignment Catalyst is hidden deep within the Singularity. Follow the same path you took to get to the Matterspark Tunnel in order to find the third Transcendent Zen fragment.

This version aims to maintain the original’s clarity and brevity while using simpler, more natural language that might be easier for some readers to understand.

Instead, opt for going left towards the vast room housing the Relocator puzzle. It’s advisable to vanquish a few Tracer Shanks first to simplify the platforming challenge ahead.

To move forward, you should traverse along the walls to your left and over the chasm. Once you arrive at the massive wall that contains the laser grid heading towards the Archon battle, keep going right until you can advance no more.

If you gaze below, you’ll spot a few tiny ledges jutting out over the abyss. Leap off towards them and then check your surroundings to the left.

Leap over to the suspended platform, which has a big pillar, and on the opposite side, you’ll discover a knocked-down terminal. Turn it on to unseal the pathway leading to the fan.

Head over to the other side of the room now, and you’ll spot the Arc bud near a hole in the pipes. Leap into the hole, unlock the bud, break the crystal, and pass through the ventilator. The catalyst piece is right past it.

If you’ve completed each step and successfully vanquished the Vandal boss to acquire the final piece of Transcendent Zen, you’ll now possess all the Exotic Catalysts for the Graviton Spike. Additionally, you’ll earn the Gravitic Doctorate Triumph essential for achieving the Fated Weapon Title.
