In the thrilling world of Monster Hunter Wilds, Armorcharm and Powercharm are some of the most prized assets at your disposal. These items have the power to substantially amplify your fundamental offensive and defensive capabilities.

Within the game, you can enhance your performance through various methods. A practical approach is by making use of diverse power-ups that momentarily increase your attributes. However, the effects of items like Armorcharm and Powercharm differ, and finding where to locate them can sometimes be perplexing.

How to get Powercharm in Monster Hunter Wilds

Different from many other items in Monster Hunter Wilds, a Powercharm (or Armorcharm) isn’t something you can craft. Instead, to obtain it, you must progress through the main storyline and advance to High Rank. Once you reach Chapter 4-2: Lurking Shadows, you’ll discover Wounded Hollow. After successfully completing Lurking Shadows, you’ll find an NPC named Cobb in Suja, Peaks of Accord.

Cobb provides an additional task where you need to track down and defeat a pair of Hirabamis. When engaging these creatures, make sure to take out one at a time for the best results. Once they’re both defeated, head back to Cobb, who will then grant you the Powercharm as your reward.

How to get Armorcharm in Monster Hunter Wilds

After wrapping up a side mission offered by Cobb, another character named Rex will reach out to you specifically at that location. In this role, he goes by “Gatekeeper.” As part of the task, you’ll need to eliminate two creatures called Ajarakan in Wounded Hollow.

Engaging this formidable foe will pose quite a challenge (it gave me a hard time during the primary mission), so take aim carefully and try to tackle one at a time to increase your odds of victory. After defeating them both, return to Rex to claim your Armorcharm.

Once you’ve gathered the items, head over to your tent and transfer the two objects into your personal stash. Having them in your inventory will enhance your defense and offense significantly, providing a valuable advantage. It might take some gameplay to acquire these items, but they are indispensable for optimal endgame strategies.
