At Firebreak Corporation (FBC), being a top-notch employee involves having the appropriate benefits tailored for your role. Initially, you’ll only have access to one benefit, but this might not suffice for more challenging tasks. To excel and deliver superior performance, it’s essential to unlock additional benefit slots and choose some new ones gained from thorough research.

How to get more perk slots

In Firebreak’s FBC (Firebreak Crisis Kit), new perk slots become available as you progressively level up your individual Crisis Kits, not your main account. Don’t confuse the two. To unlock every perk slot, you need to level each Crisis Kit separately. Begin by enhancing one kit, say the Jump Kit, until all nine perk slots are open, then move on to other classes!

Equipping perks & unlocking new ones

Once you’ve opened a perk slot, navigate to your Loadout screen, which is where you find the 3×3 grid of perk boxes. Here, you can add fresh perks or discard the old ones. To get rid of a perk, simply click on it and then hit the ‘Remove’ button that appears.

Benefits become available on the Research screen once you meet their prerequisite levels. For instance, Pocket Dimensions (additional ammo capacity) becomes accessible at Level 37 (distinct from your Crisis Kit level). To activate this perk, you will need to spend 5 Lost Assets. Additionally, you can enhance perks using Research Samples.

Whenever enhancing your Crisis Kit, don’t forget to buy and install new abilities within the open perk slots.
