As a seasoned veteran of Call of Duty: Mobile, I can confidently say that the Marathon medal has always been an elusive yet intriguing achievement for me. With years of running and gunning under my belt, I’ve mastered many challenges, but this one seemed to slip through the cracks.
In the mobile version of COD, there are numerous accomplishments and badges within the game that players can earn to demonstrate their mastery to fellow gamers.
For some people, it’s all about embracing challenges and receiving medals as recognition for their effort. In contrast, for dedicated completionists and top-tier Call of Duty: Mobile players, accomplishing tasks like unlocking achievements and medals is not just a choice, but a necessity.
As a gamer, I find myself diving into different realms within this game: Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Zombies. Each domain has its own set of two mini-realms, chock-full of accomplishments and medals waiting to be claimed by those who conquer the challenges they present.
The Marathon medal is one of the Battle Royale medals in COD: Mobile that many players don’t know much about. Seeing that, we prepared this handy guide detailing what the Marathon medal is about and how you can earn it in the game.
What Is The Marathon Medal In COD: Mobile
Earlier it was pointed out that completing a specific distance run on any map awards you with one of the medals in the battle royale mode, which is known as the Marathon.
In this game, one of the common medals can be easily obtained if you understand the prerequisites for earning it; these conditions are outlined below.
How To Get The Marathon Medal In COD: Mobile
In Call of Duty: Mobile, you can earn the Marathon medal if you manage to cover over 2000 meters in any of the battle royale map’s terrain.
After completing that task, you’ll receive a Marathon medal, which you can find in the Achievements and Medals section of your Player Menu. You can open this menu by clicking on your profile picture located in the main game lobby.
In the Warfare setting, your runs won’t contribute towards earning the Marathon medal. Instead, you need to cover over 2000 meters in a single game to receive the medal, since your progress resets with each match.
