As a seasoned gamer with countless hours clocked into various shooters, I must confess that the allure of those golden MandelBricks in Delta Force: Hawk Ops has me hooked! The thrill of the chase is undeniable, even if the odds are stacked against us.
In Delta Force: Hawk Ops, MandelBricks function similarly to loot boxes. These golden, elongated items hide various prizes such as weapon skins or even packs inside. Additionally, there are sometimes rewards for opening a specific number of MandelBricks, making them enticing to attempt to acquire.
How to get MandelBricks
If you’re among the top 25% of teams each week, you might stand a chance to receive two MandelBricks. However, this doesn’t guarantee that you’ll automatically earn one. Even if your team places eighth, it may not qualify within this ranking. Furthermore, just making it into the top 25% does not ensure receiving a MandelBrick; it only provides an opportunity to do so.
Another method to acquire a MandelBrick is by engaging in the Tactical Turmoil game mode. Keep in mind that playing at the Normal setting offers a slim chance of finding one, while Confidential presents a higher probability. However, it’s important to note that locating a MandelBrick isn’t always guaranteed – you’ll need some luck on your side. Additionally, reaching Operator level 12 is required to unlock this difficulty level.
How to open MandelBricks
After obtaining a MandelBrick, you’ll find it in the Collections tab (F7), specifically within the MandelBrick section. To use it, simply click and drag the box downwards for scanning. Upon scanning, you can open it to collect your reward. Here, I successfully obtained the Frontier Technology skin for the M4A1 Assault Rifle as shown.
MandelBrick rewards
Within a MandelBrick, you’ll find various types of rewards, but the primary ones are weapon skins and item packs. These packs can differ in rarity and include an assortment of goods, often used in the Tactical Turmoil gaming mode.
After grabbing a MandelBrick, I’d recommend checking out the Rewards section to see what goodies might be hidden in other crates. There’s also a Scan Log where you can review the rewards you’ve previously snagged. This screen will also display an overall reward you could potentially earn. During the alpha phase, players who managed to scan 75 MandelBricks could score a one-of-a-kind Vector SMG skin!
