How to get into the Dark Citadel – Heroes of Hammerwatch 2
To enter the Dark Citadel, you should initially locate a Non-Player Character (NPC) referred to as The Architect. He holds extensive knowledge about the citadel’s hidden mysteries and can appear at random in the Crypt level. As it seems that his appearance isn’t guaranteed, you’ll need to persistently play, level up, and grind until he manifests.
Remember, the location of spawn points and the map design can vary randomly, making it challenging to locate this character. However, the best strategy is to utilize your map to ensure no paths are overlooked, and persistently play through initial encounters until you successfully discover him.
After completing the task, he’ll show up at the entrance of the Citadel, close to the edge of the forest. This way, he can unlock the door for you, allowing you to skip the journey through the forest and other locations, and directly dive into your enjoyable endgame experience.
