As a seasoned Guardian with countless hours spent traversing the cosmos in Destiny 2, I can confidently say that the Facet of Mending is one of the most elusive Fragments I’ve ever hunted. The journey to unlock it took me through the forgotten corners of The Pale Heart, a place that holds memories of battles past and present.
In Destiny 2, the Aspect of Repair is one of multiple components within the Prismatic category. Unlike other aspects, acquiring the Aspect of Repair can be more challenging due to the need for players to locate certain elusive Ghost entities hidden deep within the Pale Heart region.
How to get Facet of Mending
Unlock the Mending Aspect by locating four secret spirits in The Pale Heart, positioned west of the Lost City fast travel spot. Once you’ve found these four spirits, aim to reach a platform and vanquish the foes that appear there. For guidance on obtaining the other Prismatic Fragments, consult our guide.
Ghost 1
Begin at the fast travel spot known as The Lost City, make your way towards Micah-10, and then traverse the rooftops. Proceed along these rooftops until you find yourself near alleyways that appear to lead to a marketplace. You’ll notice an awning draped in vines hanging from a tree; leap up to it to gain access to the Ghost located on a nearby sign.
Ghost 2
The upcoming Ghost can be found slightly ahead, close to the trampoline-like platforms where your initial battle with the airborne Grim, dreadful adversaries, took place. You’ll spot the Ghost hiding underneath the staircase, perched atop a pair of multi-colored containers – one red and one blue.
Ghost 3
As you step outside the building, moving towards the lush greenery, keep in mind that there’s a Ghost lurking overhead. If you want to see it, simply turn around and gaze above the doorway. You’ll notice an upside-down P and 04 spray-painted on the wall.
Ghost 4
The last Ghost is on the metal gyroscope structure that’s embedded in the trees. This is the same structure Destiny players will recall used to sit near the Speaker in the old Tower. Look for the Ghost by the left joint.
After gathering all four spectral entities, proceed on the trail near the metallic framework until you come across a flat surface. Defeat Hive to trigger the appearance of additional foes, and once they’ve appeared, eliminate them as well. Gather the loot they leave behind and then unlock the chest to claim the Facet of Mending.
The Aspect of Healing Shards grant a special ability: Final grenade hits restore your health. With the Upgrade of Transcendence, final grenade hits intensify the healing effect.
