How to complete a Sortie in Warframe

To accomplish the task for the “Sortie Specialist” mission within Nora’s Nightwave in Warframe, you must successfully complete a Sortie mission. If you’re just starting out, this might seem a bit tricky, but I’ll explain everything you need to make it through!

How to complete a Sortie in Warframe

To finish a Sortie, you should progress through the story and campaign missions until you’ve accomplished “The War Within” and reached Mastery Rank 5 or higher. Afterward, you’ll gain access to the daily Sortie in the navigation menu located at the top right corner of your screen, as illustrated above.

Every day at 17:00 UTC, the Sortie gets updated. To claim your reward, you’ll need to accomplish three missions, with difficulty levels ranging from Level 50 to Level 100. Make sure to finish all three missions before expecting your prize. Note that only Warframes of Rank 30 can be utilized, unless a player has achieved an overall Mastery Rank of 30 on their account, in which case they may use a lower rank frame as long as it’s been polarized at least once.

Completing a Sortie mission alongside a Squad, then departing from them, followed by embarking on another Sortie, allows you to jump ahead to subsequent missions without having to redo the one you’ve already finished; instead, you can move directly onto the next or third mission as the situation demands.

In these missions, you’ll find a twist compared to regular ones, offering modifications like increased Eximus enemies, decreased energy levels, foggy environments, tougher enemy armor or resistances, among other changes. For novice players, I often recommend a more durable Warframe setup to enhance survivability. The key is staying alive long enough to complete the mission and get accustomed to its unique aspects.

In crucial situations like spy missions, it’s essential to note that ciphers won’t help open doors. Instead, you’ll have to manually pick these locks. This could pose a challenge during spy missions, so it’s often recommended to wait outside rooms you’re not familiar with and let an experienced player handle them. If you trigger alarms or miss the data collection deadline, the mission will automatically fail for everyone involved.

Upon completion, you will receive one of the following:

  • Anasa Ayatan Sculpture
  • Riven Mod
  • 4000 Endo
  • 6000 Kuva
  • 3 Day Booster Exilus Warframe Adapter
  • Forma
  • Orokin Catalyst
  • Orokin Reactor
  • Legendary Core.
