How to change your FOV in Stalker 2

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can tell you that Stalker 2 is already making waves in the gaming community. With its immersive atmosphere and terrifying creatures lurking around every corner, it’s essential to have a clear view of your surroundings – especially when they’re trying to chomp on your face!

Nobody likes trying to see through what feels like a crack in a door, least of all in a game like Stalker 2 where strange beings outside of the natural order will be trying to eat your face. This is how to change your FOV so you can at least see the things that are going to kill you.

How to change your FOV in Stalker 2

To adjust your Field of View (FOV), navigate to the main menu, select ‘Options’, then ‘Display’. Look for the FOV slider within the ‘Viewport’ section. You can set it up to 110 as the highest option, and I find that this setting offers a pleasant gaming experience.

I searched through the game’s installation folders for an Engine.ini file in hopes of adjusting the level beyond 110, but I wasn’t able to locate one. Additionally, I attempted a traditional method for Unreal Engine by pressing the ` key and then typing fov followed by your desired number. It’s worth mentioning that Field of View (FOV) restrictions are usually established for stability reasons, so exceeding 110 could result in rendering issues or instability problems.

If you’re finding it challenging within the Exclusion Zone, feel free to explore our Stalker 2 resource section for additional tips.
