As an experienced gamer with countless hours spent navigating the fantastical realms of Hyrule, I can confidently say that the Seismic Talus in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a formidable foe indeed! With my trusty Master Sword and keen reflexes at the ready, I’ve taken on this hulking rock creature and emerged victorious.
In the game “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom”, your first major confrontation will be against the Seismic Talus. This formidable foe stands watch at the exit of Suthorn Ruins, so you’ll need to conquer him before you can proceed further in the game.
How to beat the Seismic Talus – The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Initially, you should understand that this is essentially a three-part battle. The Seismic Talus has a vulnerable area that shifts throughout his body. The objective is to knock it off, followed by slamming it onto the ground and inflicting as much damage as possible before moving on to the next phase, where the weak point will have moved to a new location.
Seismic Talus will do three attacks, and they will all be telegraphed pretty well.
- A punch that sends his fist flying across the room. Running left or right from where he is facing is enough to dodge it.
- His hands start to glow, and he spins in a circle. This has a very large area of effect, so run directly away from him.
- He raises his hands above his head and slams them into the ground, and this leaves him open to attack from you but also does damage in a large area, so stand back a bit to avoid getting caught.
As a gamer, I’ve got the lowdown on this foe: The glowing pink vulnerability initially appears beneath his body, later shifts to his elbow, and finally ends up on his head. Generally speaking, evade his assaults until he slams, or summon an echo that can either divert his attention or strike at the weak spot for me.
When a vulnerable spot detaches, switch to Sword mode to inflict substantial harm. It’s strategic to allow him to land some blows, especially with his airborne fist, if your sword energy is depleted. Ducking the fists will make them collide with the wall instead, providing you with energy.
In the concluding move, make him collide forcefully, followed by a leap towards his head to strike the vulnerable area. Perform this sequence twice to dislodge the weak point, and subsequently, you may attack him while he’s down.
