Venom Throw
 Aratra pulls one leg back, coats it in venom, and throws it at the player. A well-timed dodge will prevent both damage and poison buildup.
Leap into Body Slam
 The boss backs up before leaping toward you and slamming its body down. Delay your Brink Guard as the boss takes a couple of seconds to hit the ground.
Front Leg Slams
 Aratra starts by performing multiple leg stomps and can transition into any attack. By the time the boss uses this move, you should be able to recognize most of its attacks and react accordingly.
4-Hit Burst Combo
 The boss starts this attack with a leg strike, followed by a double poke, and finishes with a Burst Attack. Countering the Burst Attack is crucial, as staggering the boss gives you a window to deal significant damage before it recovers.
Venom Web
 Aratra throws a web that briefly entangles the player and increases poison buildup. As soon as you see the animation for this attack, dodge immediately, as the boss can follow up with a grab.
Venom Grab
 The boss uses its mouth to grab the player, dealing significant damage. Dodge as soon as you hear the audio cue.
Cave Retreat
 Aratra retreats toward the wall and climbs into the cave, regenerating all broken parts before leaping down. You can temporarily interrupt this by throwing a javelin while it climbs. After that, be ready to guard against the slam.
Venom Legs
 The boss pulls back both legs, coats them in venom, and then strikes, causing poison buildup. Back away as soon as you see it preparing the attack.

Before delving into the boss battle itself, there’s a crucial step all players should take initially. During the combat, Aratra might occasionally summon tiny spiders to attack you from the cave-like areas surrounding the arena. But don’t worry, there’s a method to avoid this. As you traverse Skoffa Cave, you’ll notice several narrow paths that lead to barrels. Use these barrels to trigger explosions, thereby collapsing the small caves and eliminating the spiders inside them, ensuring they won’t disrupt the fight.

Once completed, go back to the boss and initiate the battle. While most of Aratra’s attacks are manageable with evasion or defense, the primary worry lies in the poison accumulation. In such situations where your meter is filled, Poison Cleanse Potions work wonders. You can obtain more from the Bard, who resides within Embars Temple and Skoffa Cave. If you possess any Poison-Resistant Necklaces or Rings, it’s advisable to wear them during this fight too.

In the game, Aratra possesses two distinct Burst Attacks that can occur concurrently with other attacks or independently. These moves are significantly delayed, so it’s crucial to exercise patience before striking back. If you act prematurely, you might deplete your stamina and find yourself in a precarious position.

The boss has three fragile components: its two front limbs and its body. Knocking out the limbs weakens it, disabling fang assaults, whereas damaging the body halts venomous attacks. These parts heal when Aratra returns to its cave.

When the boss attempts to escape, it scales the wall – this is an ideal opportunity to hurl your Javelin at its rear, causing it to fall and sustain heavy damage.
