As a seasoned gamer with a lifetime of gaming experiences under my belt, I must say that the crossplay feature in New World: Aeternum is a godsend! With friends scattered across different platforms, it’s always been a hassle to find a common ground for our gaming sessions. But now, with this feature, we can join forces regardless of whether we’re on PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X|S.
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Amazon Games’ colonial MMO, New World: Aeternum, has made its way onto consoles! This exciting adventure now supports crossplay, enabling players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to join forces. If you wish to play with friends across various platforms, here’s a simple guide on how to enable crossplay in New World: Aeternum. Enjoy the journey together!
How to play crossplay – New World: Aeternum
To enable Crossplay in New World: Aeternum, first access the settings from your character selection screen. Inside the settings, find and click on the “Social” tab. Scroll down until you reach the “cross-play” option at the bottom. Ensure this setting is switched on. Once activated, all of your accessible worlds will be crossplay worlds.
If you prefer to play without crossplay, you can follow the same procedure to disable it. It’s advisable to make your choice before designing your character and choosing its world, as the setting cannot be altered once your character has been created.
In the game New World: Aeternum, crossplay is available, but unfortunately, it does not offer cross-progression. This was clarified by Amazon Games prior to its launch.
That’s how you can activate crossplay in New World: Aeternum. Synchronize with your friends so that you join the same server, and enjoy your adventures together. Make Shacknews your home for everything else related to New World: Aeternum.
