How to access the Marathon Closed Alpha

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but feel the excitement building up as Bungie is about to unveil their next masterpiece – a new installment of the iconic game series, Marathon! Known for creating two of the most remarkable shooter games, Halo and Destiny, they are now aiming to make it a hat-trick by resurrecting Marathon after an almost three-decade absence. I can hardly wait to see what this gaming legend has in store for us!

1. To participate in Marathon’s closed alpha testing, you should initially connect to the official Marathon Discord server.

2. After joining the community, follow the instructions provided to register for a possibility to be among the early testers of Marathon.

Important note: You MUST be over 18 and in America to take part in the upcoming closed alpha test.

Enter the command /alpha in any of the Discord channels
You will receive a private message in that channel just for you
Follow the instructions in that message, which includes a unique link for you to sign up online
If you are lucky enough to be chosen, you’ll receive an email from marathonthegame@info.bungie.net with further instructions.

The alpha testing phase for the game starts on April 23 and lasts till May 4. This duration should provide a good amount of time to explore the game. However, be aware that this is an alpha stage, so you might encounter some glitches or connectivity problems.

Currently, the Marathon Discord server is being overwhelmed with a large number of messages. Please be understanding as gaining access is done randomly, regardless of when you submit your request over the following days.
