Based on a recent Variety update, actors Tom Cullen, Joplin Sibtain, and Barry Sloane have signed up for the series. The report mentions that Tom Cullen will portray Ser Luthor Largent, Joplin Sibtain will take on the role of Ser “Bold” Jon Roxton, and Barry Sloane is set to play Ser Adrian Redfort.

The prequel story traces the ascent and decline of the Targaryen dynasty, who were the last dragonlords to endure the catastrophe known as the Doom of Valyria. This spin-off has been developed by George R.R. Martin and showrunner Ryan Condal. They, along with Sara Hess, Alan Taylor, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Loni Peristere, and Vince Gerardis, are serving as executive producers on the project.
