House of the Dragon Season 2, Episode 7 asks which side are you on? (Preview)

As a devoted fan of “House of the Dragon,” I can’t help but be excited about the latest developments in this captivating series. The recent episode introduced us to Addam of Hull, the new dragonrider chosen by Seasmoke, and Rhaenyra’s encounter with him is intriguing. I ponder over how little Rhaenyra might know about this man, making their confrontation on the beach all the more tense.

In House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 7, Rhaenyra encounters a fresh dragon rider for the first time. Meanwhile, Daemon has a discussion with the new ruler of the Riverlands. The outcomes are yet to be determined.

In the latest episode, Seasmoke picked a new rider for himself. This newcomer is Addam from Hull, an illegitimate son of Corlys Velaryon. It’s possible that Rhaenyra isn’t familiar with this man, making it understandable that she stands face to face with him on the beach to inquire about his intentions.

As someone who has spent years studying the ancient lore and myths of the Seven Kingdoms, I can understand Jace’s apprehensions regarding new dragonriders without Targaryen blood. The tales we grew up with have instilled in us a deep-rooted belief that only those with the royal lineage can tame these magnificent beasts.

Daemon meets the new Lord Tully, while Alicent questions everything in House of the Dragon

The trailer revisits Harrenhal in the preview, where a new Riverlands ruler emerges. Previously, Lord Grover held the title, but he’s now deceased, making way for his grandson to take over. This young lord isn’t shy about challenging Daemon and criticizes him for the chaos that ensued during his tenure at Harrenhal.

Which side is this boy on? That’s something Daemon wants to know.

As a dedicated gamer immersed in the intricacies of the Riverlands political landscape, I can confidently assert that if there’s anyone capable of rallying the lords to support Rhaenyra, it’s none other than Lord Tully. Yet, we mustn’t forget that these noblemen are deeply concerned with upholding justice. So, what does this mean for Daemon? It implies that he must first address their demands and prove his intentions are in line with their values before gaining their trust and allegiance.

Simultaneously, Alicent experiences a personal turmoil. Dedicated to serving her house and the realm throughout her life, she now faces betrayal from her son, Aemond, who expelled her from the Small Council. Additionally, the disapproval of the commoners towards the Greens is mounting. Has all her sacrifices been in vain? Is she on the brink of losing it all?

As a dedicated fan of “Game of Thrones” and now “House of the Dragon,” I’ve grown accustomed to the thrilling twists and turns each episode brings. With only two episodes left in Season 2, I can hardly contain my excitement as I prepare for the penultimate episode. I strongly suggest taking a peek at the trailer for Episode 7; trust me, it’s an experience that will leave you on the edge of your seat!
