The second season of “House of the Dragon” is set to air on November 19, 2024, in 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD), Blu-ray, and DVD formats. Additionally, if you can’t wait until then, you can stream it digitally right now.

Just concluded a few days back, the second installment of the Game of Thrones derivative series has left numerous plot points open for the impending struggles in House of the Dragon’s third season.

According to George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood”, a series that unfolds 200 years prior to the Game of Thrones events, follows the tale of House Targaryen. After King Aegon II’s coronation and the demise of Queen Rhaenyra’s son, House Targaryen splits into two factions. In King’s Landing, Aegon II governs from the Iron Throne with support from Alicent and the Green Council, while guarded by the largest dragon in Westeros. From Dragonstone, Queen Rhaenyra rules in exile along with her Black Council, strategizing their next step. The looming specter of civil war emerges as both sides attempt to secure allegiances from the powerful houses of Westeros. Eventually, they amass armies and even dragons in their quest for control.
