Instead of organizing it based on the number of players, this chart lists the top 100 games on Steam according to their highest earnings. Consequently, The First Descendant’s player base appears to be spending a significant amount of money in its store, as the game itself is free-to-play.

Globally, The First Descendant has significantly climbed up the rankings from its initial 99th position to a current 14th spot. Similarly impressive, it is now ranked 22nd in the United Kingdom and has made its debut in the Steam top 100 sellers for the first time.
This news is terrific for Nexon, as it demonstrates that the Hot Spring skins have become a significant financial triumph. The rise in popularity of these skins has only occurred after the release of version 1.2.7, suggesting their success. Although the number of players hasn’t increased since its 95% drop from launch, the substantial increase in revenue indicates that Nexon can continue backing TFD, and it’s likely that the skins are also selling well on PlayStation and Xbox gaming platforms.
Despite concerns about the outfits, sales data from Steam indicates that this is what players prefer and are ready to pay for. The game has consistently emphasized on featuring extremely attractive males and females, with beachwear being available for both genders. However, it’s worth noting that the female swimsuits seem to be more favored by players.
