Supergiant refers to The Unseen Update as one that concentrates on “enhancing core combat, Guardian interactions, and character relationships.” This means we can expect new story moments, additional music, and a good amount of combat adjustments.

Notably, the update showcases the previously concealed features of the Nighttime Weapons, allowing each weapon to adopt a unique fighting method for players to uncover. For instance, the controversial Umbral Flames have undergone significant changes, now offering a swifter and more agile combat style.
