searchlight Pictures has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming psychological horror thriller titled “Hold Your Breath,” starring Emmy award-winning actress Sarah Paulson. This chilling film will make its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, which takes place later this week. After its red carpet debut, audiences can stream the movie starting October 3, and it will be available exclusively on Hulu.
In the 1930s, during Oklahoma’s devastating dust storms, a woman named Paulson becomes convinced that a menacing force is endangering her loved ones, as suggested by the plot summary.

She’s desperately trying to shield them from the enigmatic wanderer, all while dealing with a relentless sandstorm that has been affecting their small community. This new project represents Paulson’s first major role in about four years, following her work in Aneesh Chaganty’s chilling thriller “Run.
In the gaming world, I recently had a chance to check out “Hold Your Breath,” a gripping movie directed by none other than Karrie Crouse and Will Joines. The story was penned by Crouse herself. This captivating film boasts an impressive cast, including Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Annaleigh Ashford, Amiah Miller, Bill Heck, Aaron Shiver, Frances Lee McCain, Courtney Cunningham, and others. At present, Paulson is set to feature prominently in multiple upcoming films. These include “I Am Symbil” by Mirrah Foulkes alongside Elle Fanning, “Cybourne Park” directed by Pam McKinnon featuring Anthony Mackie, and “Ethel’s Orchestra” helmed by Aisling Walsh with Whitney Peak – all of which are currently in the early stages of production. Recently, Paulson has been confirmed to star in the legal drama series “All’s Fair,” a project that brings her back together with her long-time collaborator Ryan Murphy.
