The sequel to Death Stranding, launched at the end of June, has been making waves with its impressive visuals, well-received reviews, and unique charm that’s captivating audiences across all platforms.

In the overwhelming interest for roles in Death Stranding 2, renowned game creator Kojima found himself having to decline several well-known personalities, yet when it came to his preferred V-Tuber, he simply couldn’t resist the opportunity.

V-Tuber Pekora Made It Into Death Stranding 2

Anyone with even a casual interest in the world of V-Tubers would recognize Pekora. She’s known for her humor, relatability, adorableness, and a favorite of Hideo Kojima. It’s not surprising that she appeared in Death Stranding, given that she is a V-Tuber herself.

In Death Stranding, the majority of individuals live in isolation because of external threats, communicating with others via holograms instead. Given these circumstances, it’s quite fitting that certain characters would opt for digital representations, or avatars, of themselves.
