As a gamer venturing through the mystical realm of Avowed, I’m on a quest to gather the elusive Totem Fragments and complete the Totem of Rightful Ownership mission. Some fragments are straightforward to locate, but others can be tricky and tucked away in places you might have overlooked earlier. Among these hidden treasures is the Gold Scale of Justice, one of the Totem Fragments nestled within the City of Paradis. To claim it, though, you’ll need to scale some heights and uncover a secret room. Here’s a guide on how to find it.

How to Find the Golden Scale of Justice Totem Fragment in Avowed

As a gamer, I stumbled upon the elusive Golden Scale of Justice Totem Fragment within the heart of Paradis City’s Pearl District, nestled within Avowed’s vibrant urban landscape. Tucked away inside a fortified chamber, this fragment can be accessed by scaling the building’s rooftop and overcoming the adversaries guarding it. With a keen eye and the instructions provided in the image above as my guide, I found the hidden entrance to this easy-to-unlock room.

Here’s what you need to do.

Reaching the Hidden Room In Pearl District

Upon reaching the Pearl District, you’ll come across a red house encased in wood. To its right, you’ll notice some crates and barrels piled up, offering an opportunity for you to ascend and reach a wooden platform above.

Traverse the wooden plank, stoop as you pass through a narrow space, then scale the adjoining structure. Continue walking along the courtyard of this building until you reach another wooden platform. From here, leap towards the balcony with a cloth covering it (there’s loot hidden behind the canvas). Don’t forget to plunder the chest concealed by the fabric for some additional treasure!

Step into the structure, and you’ll encounter a wall of sticky cobwebs barring your progress. To get past it, either cast a fire spell or use Kai’s ability to ignite the webs, which will clear a path. Once that’s done, locate a lockpick hidden within this area, then utilize it to open the chest. Afterward, proceed down the ladder that now lies beneath the cleared cobwebs, and continue on to the room below.

Eliminating Phantoms and Taking the Golden Scale of Justice

Once you descend into the room beneath, you’ll find yourself confronted by several Ghost-like foes. It would be wise to take them out first before attempting to gather any loot from the room.

After defeating all adversaries, you will discover the Totem Fragment near a toppled bookshelf within the room. This new fragment will be added to your Totem of Rightful Ownership mission, allowing you to continue searching for additional fragments throughout the game world known as Avowed.
