As a die-hard fan of reality TV and a seasoned observer of love stories unfolding on screen, I must say that the first season of Love is Blind UK has been nothing short of captivating! The level of commitment and vulnerability from these couples has been truly inspiring.
As a long-time fan of reality dating shows, I can honestly say that I have never been more captivated by a series than “Love is Blind UK.” The unique concept, where contestants fall in love without ever seeing each other, has kept me on the edge of my seat week after week. With only two episodes left before the season comes to an end, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming weddings! Having followed the couples’ journeys and emotional ups and downs, I feel invested in their relationships and can’t wait to see if they will make it down the aisle. Whether or not these love stories have happy endings, I know that “Love is Blind UK” has added another layer to my understanding of love and relationships, and I am grateful for the opportunity to witness such an extraordinary experience unfold on screen.
Personally speaking as a gaming enthusiast transitioning into a reality TV viewer for a moment, I must say this season of Love is Blind UK has been quite captivating. It’s intriguing to observe how deeply these couples seem to buy into the process. Compared to some participants in later seasons of the US version who seemed more interested in fame and a bit of screen time, it appears that the UK contestants are genuinely invested, which makes for a more authentic viewing experience.
Over the course of nine episodes, we’ve become acquainted with these couples. Now, it falls upon each couple to choose: they either decide to tie the knot or choose to part ways at the wedding alter.

Love is Blind UK couples heading to the altar
From the preview of the final episode of Love is Blind UK season 1, it seems that all six couples are planning to get married. That’s intriguing! It’s not common for all couples to make it to the altar in Love is Blind, so it’s wonderful to see these participants committed enough to follow the process until the end.
Six pairs have decided to either deepen their commitment by saying ‘I do’ or end their engagement by not proceeding with the wedding.
- Freddy and Catherine
- Bobby and Jasmine
- Steven and Sabrina
- Ollie and Demi
- Benaiah and Nicole
- Tom and Maria
1. Which individuals will tie the knot? Which ones will commit to each other without marriage, working towards their relationship? And who will part ways permanently?
We’ll find out when the final two episodes of Love is Blind UK hit Netflix on Aug. 21!
Based on my assumptions, I would bet that Bobby and Jasmine are likely to get married. Among all the couples who left the pods, they appeared to have the strongest bond. Despite the complications arising from Jasmine’s mother’s skepticism about their relationship, it seems like this won’t prevent Bobby or Jasmine from continuing their romance. As we approach the finale, I believe they are the most likely couple to succeed!
From what I can see, it appears that Steven and Sabrina share a strong connection. Based on my observations, it seems likely that they will get married, as I find it hard to imagine them splitting up. They have experienced the least amount of drama among all the couples, and their dedication to making their relationship work, even with distance between them, is quite evident.
I’m not particularly optimistic about Tom and Maria, Benaiah and Nicole, and Ollie and Demi as couples, but I believe they might still give long-term relationships a try. However, I strongly suspect that Freddy and Catherine won’t end up getting married in the end. I apologize to them both, but my intuition is backed by my extensive experience watching Love is Blind.
