As someone who has been in the entertainment industry for a while now, I must say that the journey of KATSEYE, from their initial auditions to becoming the group they are today, is truly inspiring. Having gone through similar processes myself, I can appreciate the sheer determination and resilience required to make it in this highly competitive field. The fact that over 120,000 people worldwide auditioned for KATSEYE speaks volumes about their appeal and talent. Moreover, the rigorous training and development program they underwent using K-POP methodologies showcases their dedication to perfecting their craft. I can’t wait to see what this eight-episode docuseries has in store for us as it delves deeper into their story.

As one of the fortunate 20 finalists, I found myself advancing to the next phase of the selection process, where I joined The Debut: Dream Academy survival show. In this thrilling competition, we were tasked with completing three unique missions, and both HYBE and Geffen executives, as well as online voters, evaluated our performances.

Initially, a large number of contestants participated in the survival show. However, the count was reduced to ten before the final six girls who would form the official group were unveiled at a live finale event in Los Angeles. These six individuals were Daniela Avanzini, Manon Bannerman, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeong. Rest assured, you’ll get to see all of this unfold in the Netflix docuseries.
