Vipin Kumar’s allegations against Unni Mukundan

Vipin Kumar alleged that the actor known as Marco physically attacked him in the parking lot of his apartment building. According to reports, Unni demanded that Vipin come down from his apartment and then is said to have assaulted him. In a video broadcast by Asianet News, Vipin asserted that not only did the actor physically attack him, but he also used offensive language during the dispute.

Vipin shared that, although he’s experienced harsh words in the past, he chose to stick with working alongside Unni because of his professional obligations. Yet, he mentioned that Unni seems to have become increasingly testy as of late, rumored to be a result of personal struggles and difficulties in his career.

Among the factors cited were the scarcity of substantial movie opportunities following Marco’s tenure and the box office flop of his most recent production Get-Set Baby. Additionally, he lamented that a directorial debut by Unni, initially planned by Sree Gokulam Movies, was canceled, potentially exacerbating his feelings of disappointment. However, it should be noted that the initial announcement of this project can still be found on the production house’s official Instagram page.

Vipin explains why he made the post about Narivetta

Vipin stated that a social media post he made praising the movie “Narivetta,” starring Tovino Thomas, led to the entire situation. However, he explained that this social media post was related to his professional responsibilities. Later that night, Unni phoned him and dismissed him from his position as manager.

According to him, as a part of Narivetta’s promotions, I shared a positive message about the movie on social media. Unni wasn’t happy with this. He called me that night and dismissed me from my manager position. I simply agreed. It was afterwards that he showed up and physically attacked me.

Currently, there’s no official word from Unni Mukundan or his group about the event. The matter is still being looked into by the authorities.
