Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour stop in Los Angeles created a buzz for multiple reasons. During this tour, Carpenter has met several celebrities, and most recently, she spent time with Christina Aguilera. While engaging in a game of Spin the Bottle with her backup dancers, Sabrina Carpenter playfully announced that the bottle had pointed to “a mini version of Christina.
Right before my audience was fully grasping what was happening, I popped up from below the stage, catching everyone off guard with a delightful surprise. We then belted out “Ain’t No Other Man” together, followed by a stunning rendition of the song onstage. To top it all off, Carpenter and I dueted her Grammy-winning hit “What a Girl Wants,” a tune we had previously performed during my 25th anniversary celebration of my self-titled debut album.
Sabrina Carpenter openly confessed to feeling quite nervous when performing alongside Christina Aguilera. She reminisced about her youth, when she used to listen to Aguilera’s music, expressing that this iconic singer had been a significant inspiration for her as a budding young artist with a love for singing.
Following the concert, Carpenter posted on Instagram to express appreciation towards Aguilera. She thanked the pop star for surprising her and their fans, and went as far as attributing Aguilera as a significant factor in her love for pop music. Additionally, she shared multiple photos with Aguilera, reflecting on the concert experience.
