In an Instagram post, Bob Koplar announced that the live-action Voltron movie has completed filming, and he’s ecstatic about how it turned out. As someone who’s worked with this franchise for a long time, he confidently declares that this version of Voltron is exactly what fans have been yearning for in their dreams.

The film version of Volton, originally an anime from the ’80s, is being brought to life by Amazon MGM Studios. As reported by Screen Rant, they haven’t announced a release date for Voltron just yet. However, it seems that the movie will likely appear in 2026, since filming has already been completed.
Furthermore, while there was anticipation for the film to hit theaters, certain reports hinted at a different outcome. According to The Wrap, a recent statement indicated that “Contrary to Amazon’s pledge for a theatrical run, Voltron is instead heading directly to their Prime Video streaming platform.
