Silambarasan TR and Dhanush used to be close friends long ago. As time went on, their relationship saw its fair share of highs and lows. At one point, the star from Pathu Thala admitted that he had a competitive relationship with Dhanush.
In an earlier conversation, Simbu discussed the shift from friendship to perceived rivalry with Dhanush. He clarified, however, that contrary to public speculation, their relationship remains amicable, and there’s no underlying tension between them.
Nevertheless, he noted that there’s a distinct difference in their dynamics when discussing films, as Simbu views the Captain Miller actor as a formidable rival. He emphasized that in the realm of cinema, this is where they can mutually develop and advance professionally.
According to him, “Friendship and filmmaking are distinct entities. Regarding our respective professions, we’re competitors. In the realm of movies, I challenge and compete with others, which ultimately fosters growth.
From now on, following in the footsteps of Dhanush, I shared an illustration that underscored a unique perspective of mine. When one of his films triumphed, it didn’t just bring joy; instead, it sparked a different emotion within me – a realization that I needed to exert more effort and elevate my performance beyond what I had previously achieved, inspired by his success.
Simbu shared, “When Polladhavan turned out to be a success, I’m not sure if he was overjoyed or not, but I felt elated because it pushed me to aim for an even bigger hit. And when my movie succeeds, it should encourage him to create a better film than mine.
Skipping forward to the present day, both Silambarasan and Dhanush have significantly advanced in their individual professions. Each of them has established a strong reputation and is widely recognized as a notable figure.
From my perspective as a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that on the professional horizon, Simbu (Silambarasan) is eagerly anticipating the launch of his upcoming grand endeavor, Thug Life. This project brings him together with the legendary Kamal Haasan. Moreover, there are several other significant projects in the pipeline for this dynamic talent.
Meanwhile, Dhanush also boasts a number of highly anticipated films upcoming, such as Kuberaa, Idly Kadai, and Tere Ishk Mein.
