In my narrative, the tale of Hathya chronicles the tragic demise of JC Dharmendra Reddy, a turn of events that unfolded after his brother, Kiran Reddy, assumed office as Chief Minister. The shocking death sparks an inquiry spearheaded by the astute IPS officer Sudha. As she delves deeper, intricate political feuds and hidden acts of deception among the powerful emerge, painting a gripping picture of power, deceit, and justice.
The case casts doubt on if the murder had any political connections. Kavita, Dharmendra’s daughter, and his partner Salima gain significance in the probe. As Sudha collects more facts, unforeseen realities surface, intensifying the enigma.
The film showcases Sudha’s search for justice as she navigates a web of secrets and deception.
Cast and crew of Hathya
The movie ‘Hathya’ is helmed by the talented director and writer, Srividya Basawa. It is produced by S. Prashanth Reddy under the banner of Mahaakaal Pictures. The stunning cinematography is handled by Abhiraj Rajendran Nair, while Anil Kumar P takes care of the editing. The musical score is beautifully composed by Naresh Kumaran P.
In this production, Dhanya Balakrishna takes on the role of IPS officer Sudha Rao, with Ravi Varma portraying Reddy and Bharath Reddy as V.S. Jeevan Reddy. Pooja Ramachandran plays the character Shaheen, while Bindu Chandramouli is cast as Anitha. Srikanth Iyengar, Raghunath Raju, and Sivaji Raja are among the supporting actors who play significant roles in the story.
