The final episode of the show was broadcast on May 11, 2025, leaving viewers wondering about additional episodes. This curiosity stemmed from a new strategy by the streaming platform to break popular shows’ seasons into multiple segments to build anticipation among viewers. Many anticipated that Watson would follow suit. However, contrary to expectations, the series decided against this pattern and instead released all 13 of its episodes as planned on their scheduled dates.
Excitedly, I’ve been eagerly anticipating more episodes of this fantastic show! And here’s some incredible news – Watson will be back for a Season 2! This announcement was made in March 2025, even before the end of the first season! According to Variety, Watson Season 1 has been a massive hit, making it no surprise that producers and broadcasters are moving forward with a second installment. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next!
Watson will be part of several CBS series coming back next season. These include Tracker, Matlock, Elsbeth, Fire Country, FBI, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Survivor, Ghosts, The Amazing Race, NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney.
