Scott Gemmill, delves deep into the day-to-day lives of hospital staff in Pittsburgh, showcasing their battles with real-world medical issues and office politics, all while juggling societal pressures and personal struggles. With Episode 15 having aired, there’s a buzz in the air about potential new episodes or another season. Here’s what I’ve gathered so far.

Since its premiere on Max, this series has attracted lots of viewers and been well-liked by audiences, which helped ensure its continuation.

Shabana Azeez, the actress who portrays Dr. Javadi, shared some exciting news about the resumption of Season 2 during a recent interview with The Direct. She mentioned that she’ll be returning to set somewhere around May or June, expressing her eagerness. As reported by Variety, it appears the series is preparing for production in June.

At Deadline’s Contenders TV gathering, the creator Gemmill unveiled that the upcoming season is scheduled for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Moreover, the second season unfolds 10 months following the incidents in the first season.

During the same panel discussion, both executive producer and actor Noah Wyle voiced their thoughts on casting. He expressed, “We’re looking for seasoned professionals. We need individuals skilled with props, comfortable working in a team setting, an ensemble if you will. Creativity and passion are key, but we don’t want arrogance or ego to be part of the equation. Many outstanding people have been eagerly showing up.

Currently, the series is expected to premiere in January 2026.
