On October 10, 2024, I found myself immersed in the first season of Citadel: Diana on Amazon Prime, with the gripping finale titled “Jupiter.” In this episode, I was torn between Diana’s internal struggle with her choice and Edo’s meticulous work on a powerful weapon. A poignant flashback showed the Zanis mourning for Enrico. It was then that it dawned on me – I am the last surviving Citadel agent.
The production team and studio haven’t given an official confirmation about the show’s renewal yet. The decision hinges on viewer numbers and various other factors. But fans need not despair just yet.
However, it’s worth noting that a second season of the original series, “Citadel”, is in development for even more action. Expected to debut on Amazon Prime Video by the year 2025. In the interim, enthusiasts can anticipate the Indian adaptation, titled “Citadel: Honey Bunny”. This spinoff will make its first appearance on November 7, 2024.
