A fresh Telugu web series titled Harikatha is gearing up for its premiere on an OTT platform, expanding the collection of engaging content for audiences. In this intriguing mystery-thriller, Srikanth and Rajendra Prasad take the lead roles, with the story unfolding in a rural setting.
The highly-anticipated show started airing on Disney+ Hotstar on December 13, 2024, and can now be watched online. The platform shared this news a short while back with a promotional video.

In the small-town mystery thriller series helmed by Maggi, an engrossing storyline unfolds. This tale is set within a community where it’s believed that someone has come from above to dispense punishment for murders that have occurred. The residents speculate that this might be none other than God himself, bringing justice down from the skies. Hymns from the Bhagavad Gita are skillfully incorporated into the storyline of these supposed divine judgments.
In the midst of these puzzling happenings, a fresh police officer steps into the village to unravel the mysteries behind these incidents and their effects on the villagers’ lives. This scenario lays the groundwork for the series, propelling the storyline forward through unexpected curveballs, all while the divine aspect plays a significant role with a deep-rooted significance.
Besides Srikanth and Rajendra Prasad, the series boasts a skilled group of actors such as Mounika Reddy, Divi Vadhata, Pujitha Ponnada, Suman, Arjun Ambati, Ruchira Saadineni, Shriya Kottam, Usha Shree, and numerous others in significant parts.
In this series, Vijay Ulaganath managed the visual aspects, whereas Junaid Siddique oversaw the editing process. Suresh Bobbili created the music, and Suresh Jai wrote the narrative.
In terms of his career, Srikanth made an appearance in the recently released Tamil movie “Maya Puthagam,” directed by Rama Jayaprakash. This action-packed thriller, which starred Ashok Kumar and Abarnathi, showcased Srikanth in a supporting part and hit the screens in June of this year. Prior to that, he played the main role in another Tamil film titled “Sathamindri Mutham Tha,” acting alongside Priyanka Thimmesh and Hareesh Peradi.
