On a recent airing of The Drew Barrymore Show (February 24th episode), she opened up about the backlash she has faced over her divorces throughout her career.

58-year-old Berry shared with Barrymore that she encountered her current partner later in her life. After facing criticism about her multiple divorces, Halle Berry expressed her thoughts as follows: “People have said things like, ‘Halle Berry can’t hold onto a man.’ But why should it be assumed I want to keep a man? I don’t want to hold onto the wrong man. I mean, I’m not crazy, am I? So if you realize you’ve made a mistake – and we all make mistakes – you have the right to say, ‘Wow, this was a mistake. Let me try again.’ We each have that right.

Halle Berry’s first husband was ex-major league baseball player David Justice, whom she married in 1993 and divorced in 1997. She then wed R&B artist Eric Benét in 2001, but that marriage ended in divorce in 2005. Her third spouse, French actor Olivier Martinez, was married to Berry from 2013 until their separation in 2016. Additionally, she had a long-term relationship with model Gabriel Aubry from 2005 to 2010.
