when it comes out, Hades 2 will exclusively be available on the Nintendo Switch console.
As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Straight from the developers at Supergiant, Hades 2 version 1.0 is set to debut simultaneously across various platforms – including Steam, Epic Games Store, and not one but two Nintendo Switch versions! Yes, you read that right! This epic sequel will be playable on both the original Switch and the highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. Can’t wait to dive back into the underworld with Hades 2!
In simpler terms, since Hades 2 is initially only available on consoles (PS5), players using Xbox or other platforms will have to be patient until it’s also released on their chosen systems. This mirrors the release strategy of the original Hades game, which debuted on PC and Nintendo Switch in 2020, and then appeared on PlayStation and Xbox around a year later.
Hades 2 will debut as an exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2, having been developed by third parties. Not long ago, FromSoftware unveiled a game titled The Duskbloods, which is set to release only on the Nintendo Switch and won’t be adapted for other gaming systems.
