H. Moser & Cie.’s Streamliner Skeleton Rainbow Gleams with Vibrant Sapphires

Summary

  • H. Moser & Cie.’s new Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow blends jewelry and watchmaking
  • The watch features 60 baguette-cut sapphires in a rainbow gradient on a 40mm case
  • It showcases a fully skeletonized HMC 814 movement with a flying tourbillon

Following the presentation of two captivating Streamliner Flyback Chronograph watches at Watches & Wonders Geneva last month, H. Moser & Cie. now adds to its collection an eye-catching new piece: the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Rainbow.

Generally speaking, Moser’s timepieces usually don’t feature precious stones. But this latest model marks an exceptional decision to showcase brilliance, accentuating the movement’s beauty, balance, and even minimalism in design. Consequently, the watch strikes a harmonious blend of jewelry craftsmanship and watchmaking skill.

This timepiece comes in two options: a 5N red gold version or steel, and it showcases an array of 60 brilliantly colored baguette-cut sapphires. These stones are meticulously placed on the middle part of the case, creating a double gradient effect. One gradient reflects the hues of the rainbow, while the other emphasizes the size of the Streamliner’s 40mm cushion-shaped case, adding to its streamlined design. The vibrant sapphires also serve to highlight the intricate HMC 814 movement, which is completely visible through the watch’s face due to its full skeletonization.
