As Paltrow’s character has experienced a difficult existence, she finds renewed vitality through her association with Chalamet, albeit one that is mutually transactional for both characters, as she herself described it. In her upcoming film with Chalamet, the actress from Iron Man 3 continued the conversation, jokingly mentioning the numerous intimate scenes: “Well, let’s just say there’s plenty of romance in this movie – you could call it a love fest!

Working with Timothée Chalamet was a fresh endeavor for Paltrow, as she met an intimacy coordinator for the first time. “I didn’t know about these people called intimacy coordinators before,” she acknowledged. “I thought, ‘Girl, I’m from the times when you just strip down, climb into bed, and the camera rolls.’

Even with the coordinator present, Paltrow and Chalamet chose to work on their scenes separately. As for artists starting out, if someone says something like, “Now he’s going to place his hand here,” it can feel quite restrictive.

In a playful manner, the actor made light of their age gap by remarking, “I said, ‘Alright, fantastic. I’m 109 years old and you’re just 14.'”, but she acknowledged that the upcoming movie offers an examination of vulnerability – a dimension she hadn’t encountered in her past acting roles.

Marty Supreme gears up to hit theaters on December 25.
