Guns Are Blazing in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Leonardo DiCaprio-Starring Film ‘One Battle After Another’

This film is directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, and a brief teaser for the movie has been unveiled in advance of the full trailer, which will be released next week.

In this modern-day Western setting, the brief trailer presents a sequence where multiple characters discharge weapons into open landscapes. Teyana Taylor’s pregnant character takes part in the shooting spree by placing her rifle on her belly before firing several shots. Leonardo DiCaprio observes from afar, sipping a drink. Subsequently, the baby is born, and a voice poses the question, “What will you do about this child?” The trailer swiftly transitions to show the grown child replicating her mother’s actions with her own rifle. In the background, a voice can be heard saying, “You think you have things under control.” An aged version of DiCaprio appears in the scene, sporting a goatee and aiming down the scope of a gun as Sean Penn drags a terrified woman through an alleyway. Regina Hall is also part of the cast along with Taylor, DiCaprio, and Penn.

Initially, it was mentioned that the setting for the upcoming teaser trailer would be modern-day. The film has been speculated to have a budget of more than $100 million USD and will mark the sixth collaboration between director Wes Anderson and composer Johnny Greenwood. One Battle After Another is set to hit theaters on September 26.
