The launch will feature every character released for Guilty Gear Strive up until Season 3’s Slayer, encompassing the original roster and downloadable characters. Additionally, the game will provide post-release content such as unlockable music for past DLC characters, an additional story mode, Figure Mode, and other exciting extras.
It’s been verified that the game can be played online using rollback netcode. However, Ken Miyauchi, the lead producer of Guilty Gear Strive, mentioned separately that the Nintendo Switch version will not support crossplay with PC, PlayStation, and Xbox versions of the game. This decision seems to maintain a stable online gaming environment for Guilty Gear Strive. But it’s plausible that in future updates or perhaps on the successor to the Nintendo Switch, crossplay might be introduced.
