Gucci has announced that their Cruise 2026 collection will be presented on May 15, 2025, at Palazzo Settimanni in Florence. The design team at the house is working diligently as Demna Gvasalia prepares for his debut. The public will have access to Gucci’s brand archive during this event.
Located on Via delle Caldaie in the Oltrarno district, a 15th-century structure was acquired by Gucci back in 1953. This historic building underwent a transformation and became the Gucci Archive in 2021, having previously functioned as a factory, showroom, and initial workshop throughout its history.
Gucci’s CEO, Stefano Cantino, stated, “Coming back to Florence, specifically to Palazzo Settimanni, is a gesture of respect and a promise.” He went on to explain that the archive isn’t just a storage for our history, but a vibrant space where Gucci’s unique identity is safeguarded and reinvented through continuous conversation. Showcasing the Cruise 2026 collection here strengthens our connection with the cultural and artisanal legacy that shapes us, while propelling it into the future with consistency and aspiration.
After Sabato De Sarno left in February, Demna took over as the brand’s new creative director in March, and he will display his last Balenciaga collection in July.
