According to whispers about Charli XCX possibly discussing roles in Greta Gerwig’s forthcoming Netflix adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia, it has been verified that Emma Mackey will star in the production as the main character, the White Witch.

As reported by Variety, Mackey has been cast for a role that was previously portrayed by Tilda Swinton in the 2005 film adaption of “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. It’s anticipated that Mackey will be working alongside Meryl Streep, who is set to play Aslan – a character known for being a talking lion who acts as a guide and protector for the children in the magical land of Narnia.
